- Caf to form part of new park hub complex
- Registrations of interest open until 16 August
Registrations of interest are being sought from individuals and organisations interested in operating a new caf within John Forrest National Park.
Forming part of a new park centre, which will be the central point of the visitor hub once the John Forrest National Park improvement project is complete, the caf will have an internal dining area of 180 square metres and an alfresco dining area of 150 square metres.
The caf's operator will also be given the opportunity to provide dine-in, takeaway and function catering, as well as obtain a liquor licence.
In addition to the new caf, the park centre will be home to an interpretation centre and function space that will showcase and interpret the cultural values and heritage sites within the park.
Interested operators have until 16 August to register their interest.
The John Forrest National Park Improvement Project is expected to be completed in 2026. For more information, visit www.dbca.wa.gov.au/johnforrestimprovementproject.
