New Initiative Helps People Find Their Fit

NSW Gov

A new initiative is turning the tables on getting a job in Southern's Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) team.

Vacant positions can be hard to fill in rural and regional areas and to complement Southern's 'Come to Southern' recruitment campaign that showcases the benefits of living and working in our regions, the MHAOD Directorate has implemented a Recruitment Concierge service.

Our Recruitment Concierge, Chris Hancock, is the face of our campaign and his role is to work with prospective employees to find the right job that fits them.

Chris aims to make the whole process easier for applicants, compared to the traditional way of applying for a public health service job.

Chris says often people are open to a new job but don't necessarily know where they will fit. Sometimes people struggle to find the right role in the right location. By connecting with a dedicated recruitment concierge people can discuss what they're looking for and get matched up with perfect role.
