Condamine Resources’ Non Executive Director, Ms Anna Nahajski-Staples, today congratulated Mr Harper on his appointment.

Condamine is a gold exploration company, established in May 2017 to acquire and advance a portfolio of highly prospective gold projects in New Zealand. Details regarding the Company’s prospective portfolio of gold projects and exploration strategy will be outlined in the IPO propsectus, due for release this quarter.
The Company expects to complete an IPO on the Australian Securities Exchange in the December quarter of 2018.
Mr Harper was most recently Managing Director of Kin Mining (ASX: KIN), winner of the ‘Best Emerging Company’ at Diggers & Dealers 2017. During Mr Harper’s leadership at Kin, the company’s market capitalisation more than doubled and share price reached an all time high.
Mr Harper is a Mining Engineer with over 27 years of operational and corporate experience in the minerals industry, specialising in taking exploration projects into production, along with the associated financing, business development, and general corporate activities. Mr Harper has extensive experience with the development and operation of both underground and open pit mines in Australia and abroad. He has acted in the roles of Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Mine Manager, and Senior Mining Consultant for various ASX-listed mining companies. He has been involved with the following projects; Tembang Gold-Silver Project, Central Tanami Project, Norseman and Cracow Gold Project. Between 2003 and 2008 he was Managing Director of ASX-listed nickel and copper producer Fox Resources where he brought the Radio Hill Nickel/Copper mine from feasibility into full production. Mr Harper was instrumental in taking Fox from a market capitalisation of $30 million to over $200 million.
Mr Harper holds a Western Australian First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).
The details of Mr Harper’s employment contract will be outlined in the IPO prospectus.
The Company also advised the appointment of former OceanaGold Exploration Manager, Mr Paul Angus who is based in New Zealand, as Non Executive Technical Director.
"We recognised the importance of having in-country knowledge at the board level and we are delighted to have brought Paul into our team," said Ms Nahajski-Staples. "Paul has been involved with the historical mining district of Reefton for a number of years and brings a wealth of knowledge about our project area to Condamine with long-standing relationships and regional expertise."
Mr Angus is a geologist with more than 30 years mining, development and exploration experience in New Zealand. Paul began his career with BP Oil, working for three years on gold exploration in the North and South Islands, then joined Macraes Mining Ltd in 1990 as a mine geologist. In 1995 he was appointed as New Zealand Exploration Manager and managed a team of more than 50 with an annual budget of NZ$10-15 million. During the next two years his team discovered more than 2Moz of gold at Macraes and Reefton. In 1999 he was appointed Mining and Exploration Manager responsible for all mining operations, long-term planning and exploration. During this period, he project managed the feasibility and purchase of the open pit mining fleet, maintenance and supply contracts. With the transition to owner mining, Mr Angus changed roles to head up Exploration and Development for Oceanagold and completed the feasibility studies on the Frasers underground, Reefton open pit and scoping study on the Blackwater underground mine. Mr Angus left OceanaGold in 2005 and has been consulting on mining and exploration projects for gold, coal and diatomite. ---
