Council is excited to announce applications are now open for the Moira Community Leadership Program.
Individuals eager to enhance their leadership skills and make a meaningful impact within the community are encouraged to apply.
The Moira Community Leadership Program offers a 10-week course that focuses on leadership development, networking, and emergency management.
Chair Administrator Graeme Emonson PSM highlighted the program's potential benefits for our region.
"Development of a Community Leadership Program has been a key priority for Council and we're really proud to be providing this new program with a two-year commitment," Dr Emonson said.
"The program presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals to play a vital role in our community's growth. Participants will gain valuable knowledge to grow their leadership skills.
"If you are passionate about leadership and dedicated to supporting your community, I strongly encourage you to apply."
The program aims to nurture and develop emerging and existing leaders within the community, where participants may go on to assume key leadership roles in community groups, sports and services clubs, and potentially even within the Council itself.
This program is an investment in the individuals who will shape the direction and success of our region for years to come.
