A new and upgraded playground has been unveiled at Reid Park.
Mosman Mayor Ann Marie Kimber was joined for the official opening by fellow Councillors, State Member for North Shore Felicity Wilson, Mosman Council staff, and representatives of the organisations that built and supplied equipment for the playground.
It followed the completion of the project and first public use during the first weekend in April.
The playspace features an interactive nature play area, inclusive and other play equipment, rubber soft-fall surfacing and a shade sail.
Feedback from community and user groups informed the concept design.
The project was funded by Council and the NSW Government through the Local Small Commitments Allocation - Playground and Park Upgrades program.
Mayor Kimber said the new playground provided a contemporary and inclusive place for children and their families to enjoy.
"The playground upgrade was developed in consultation with the community, with valuable ideas and feedback incorporated into the design," she said.
"It's wonderful to see our young residents now enjoying this revitalised space."
