- Nunavut
- $44.7 million to the Government of Nunavut, to:
- Improve resupply safety and efficiency in the communities of Igloolik, Kimmirut, Sanikiluaq, and Taloyoak by improving their local sealift areas, through adjustments or expansions to the sealift ramps or cargo storage areas, and installing fencing, lighting, and/or signage.
- Re-locate Arctic Bay's sealift area away from the centre of the community, improving resupply safety and efficiency, as well as community safety.
- Install safety lights at fuel resupply locations in up to 22 communities, improving operator safety and reducing environmental risks.
- Relocate fuel resupply manifolds in up to 14 communities, creating buffer zones between fuel transfer areas and natural shorelines to reduce environmental risks.
- Replace pipelines for fuel resupply in one community to allow for more efficient fuel transfer.
- Top-up funding for an existing project to build a container stripping and warehouse facility at the Deep-Sea Port in Iqaluit.
- Northwest Territories
- $5 million to the Government of the Northwest Territories to remove sediment from the bottom of Hay River Harbour to provide safer navigation for community resupply vessels.
