A new suburban-thriller TV series set to start filming soon in Melbourne will create thousands of local jobs and showcase Victoria's world-class screen industry talent and facilities.
The Peacock series All Her Fault will film at Docklands Studios Melbourne and on location across the city with globally acclaimed local film and TV star Sarah Snook (Succession, Predestination) and renowned director Minkie Spiro (3 Body Problem, Downton Abbey, Dead to Me).
Melbourne-based, Emmy and two-time Golden Globe award winning actress Sarah Snook, will star in the lead role of Marissa as well as executive producing the 8 x 1 hour drama series which is adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name by Andrea Mara.
All Her Fault will create more than 2,000 job opportunities for Victorian screen industry workers, including 510 crew and five placements for emerging screen practitioners. The production will also support 435 local businesses and inject over $70 million directly into the Victorian economy.
All Her Fault opens on a plausibly terrifying situation that eventually unearths the deep secrets of a community. Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son, Milo, from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn't a mother she recognises. She isn't the nanny. She doesn't have Milo. And so begins every parent's worst nightmare.
Award-winning director Minkie Spiro will direct the first episode, among others and executive produce. Joining Snook in the cast are Emmy nominees Dakota Fanning (Ripley, The Equalizer 3) and Jake Lacy (White Lotus), Abby Elliott (The Bear), Sophie Lillis (It) and Michael Peña (Unstoppable).
Megan Gallagher (Wolf, Suspicion) serves as writer, creator, and executive producer alongside executive producers Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame and Joanna Strevens for Carnival Films (The Day of the Jackal, Lockerbie, Downton Abbey), Jennifer Gabler Rawlings and Christine Sacani, producer Terry Gould and associate producer, Andrea Mara.
All Her Fault is produced by Carnival Films, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group, and was attracted to Victoria through the Victorian Government's Victorian Screen Incentive.
