New Treatment Trend Co Revolutionises Cancer Care

Cancer Council NSW

Deanna Chapman and Stevie Reading are wives, mothers, and Australian qualified Radiation Therapists. Based in the rural town of Tamworth, NSW, both Deanna and Stevie, combined an extensive career in cancer care, an unwavering passion for patient-centred care and creativity flare to launch - The Treatment Trend Co (TTTC).

Stevie, with 14 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, has worked in diverse settings ranging from bustling metropolises to rural communities. Her career has been fulfilling, allowing her to contribute to patient care and advancements in the field. Stevie has excelled as a clinical educator, researcher, and senior radiation therapist, honing her skills in advanced practices and education. Her goal has always been to enhance the treatment experience for patients.

Deanna brings a decade of dedicated experience in rural health cancer care, driven by a passion for delivering quality patient care. As a clinical educator and an active member of a local philanthropic group, she has advocated for better patient services and support.

After years of observing patients in crowded waiting rooms, wearing uncomfortable and often disposable treatment gowns, Deanna realised there had to be a better way to afford dignity and comfort to those feeling vulnerable. Her research into available options in Australia revealed a gap in the market for quality, sustainable treatment apparel that is both clinically practical and dignified. Many patients face a loss of dignity, privacy, and control when they enter a medical facility, with traditional treatment gowns offering little comfort or modesty. For some, hospital robes can even be triggering.

Motivated by a strong desire from both the public and medical facilities, Deanna and Stevie launched The Treatment Trend Co. Their vision is to redefine treatment apparel, ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their medical journey. They designed stylish, practical treatment apparel that patients can own and bring to their multiple medical appointments, complete with a functional matching tote bag.

Today, we're excited to announce The Treatment Trend Co partnership with Cancer Council NSW, a move that revolutionises the cancer care experience with purposefully crafted treatment robes and apparel.

Gone are the days of uncomfortable and impersonal hospital attire. TTTC's treatment apparel combines fashion and functionality, enabling patients to feel at ease and empowered throughout their treatment process.
