New Year's Eve Celebrations In Region

Residents are invited to celebrate the beginning of the new year by joining in on some of the Region's beloved New Year's Eve traditions.

The Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) hosts yearly celebrations to mark the calendar event including their annual New Year's Eve fireworks display at the Godsall Street Oval in Queens Park Toowoomba from 8pm. People from across the Region have been invited to attend the popular event which will see the Toowoomba skies lit up in various illuminations. No prior entertainment will be at this year's family-friendly event however attendees can picnic in the park before the fireworks begin.

The Jondaryan Woolshed, Australia's oldest and largest woolshed, will also be hosting their tradition to welcome in 2025. A New Year's Eve Bush Dance, featuring iconic Darling Downs band 'Ridgy Didge Bush Band' will commence at 6pm and is expected to continue until late. Attendees can camp onsite or book accommodation directly through the Jondaryan Woolshed.
