Mayor Cr George Weston, who has taken on the portfolios of 'Welcoming Leeton' and 'WR Connect', said the designations are important pillars of Council's advocacy efforts and service delivery.
"Each portfolio provides the associated Councillor with an opportunity to develop and maintain a high level of knowledge in a specified field which can help keep Council better informed and advance the delivery of Council's strategic priorities.
"The portfolios will also help ensure that Council effectively addresses the needs of the Leeton Shire community," said Mayor Weston.
