Ngee Ann Kongsi Donates S$12.5M for TCM Education

The Ngee Ann Kongsi has pledged S$12.5 million to NTU Singapore to enhance its Bachelor of Chinese Medicine degree programme. The Ngee Ann Kongsi has pledged a gift of S$12.5 million to NTU Singapore to advance traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) education at the University and build a local pipeline of TCM professionals who can serve the needs of our population.

Disbursed over five years, the gift from the non-profit philanthropic organisation will fund scholarships, bursaries, clinical training, and community outreach efforts as part of NTU's Bachelor of Chinese Medicine programme.

The gift was formalised in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between NTU Chief Development Officer Ms See E'jin and The Ngee Ann Kongsi Vice President Mr Lie Kee Pong at The Ngee Ann Kongsi Members' Gala Night. Minister for Health Mr Ong Ye Kung, the event's Guest-of-Honour, presided over the signing.
