Westgate Alliance Taskforce detectives have charged nine males after an alleged affray and stabbing in Manor Lakes on 13 January.
It's believed a group of about ten males were involved in an alleged brawl at a shopping complex on Ballan Road when one male sustained suspected stab wounds to the upper body on Thursday, 13 January about 6.30pm.
A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A short time later a 16-year-old Werribee boy was arrested nearby in Buloke Avenue on the night.
Since then, a further eight males have been arrested and have all been charged with a range of offences, including affray, violent disorder, reckless conduct endanger serious injury and weapons offences.
Three adults have been charged including:
- 18 year old Wyndham Vale man bailed to attend Werribee Magistrates' Court on 21 June 2022.
- 18 year old Wyndham Vale man has been bailed to attend Werribee Magistrates' Court on 12 July 2022.
- 18 year old Fitzroy man has been bailed to attend Werribee Magistrates' Court on 28 June 2022.
A total of six youths have also been charged, including:
- 17-year-old Tarneit boy
- 17-year-old Collingwood boy
- 16-year-old Wyndham Vale boy
- Two 16-year-old Werribee boys
- 15-year-old Collingwood boy
They have all been bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.
