The 2025 Corangamite Shire Community Awards will be presented at the Theatre Royal in Camperdown on 26 January next year.
Acting CEO Justine Linley called on Shire residents to nominate the people and events who deserved recognition for their contributions to the community.
"This is an opportunity to celebrate the fantastic efforts members of our community put in, year after year, to make Corangamite such a great place to live.
"I encourage everyone to think about who you know in your neighbourhood, sporting club, service club, landcare group – or any other community organisation – who goes that extra mile to keeps things running.
"The Community Volunteer of the Year, Young Community Volunteer of the Year and Community Event of the Year awards are a way to recognise the generosity of these unsung heroes who give their time for the benefit of the community."
The awards will be presented as part of the Shire's Australia Day activities on Sunday 26 January 2025.
Nominations open on Monday 16 September and close Monday 28 October.
