Nominations for the 2025 Shoalhaven Australia Day Awards have been extended until Friday 15 November 2024.
Everyone in the community is encouraged to nominate someone who has gone above and beyond this year, with a great prize up for grabs for those who make the special effort to nominate someone great.
The Shoalhaven has many inspirational role models who make a positive impact on people's lives and this is a chance to honour those special people who deserve to be recognised and celebrated.
The three categories for nominations are:
- Citizen Award: 25 years and over
- Young Citizen Award: 24 years and younger
- Proudly Shoalhaven Award: open to individuals, volunteers, service groups and community groups.
Nominators will go into a draw to win a $500 gift voucher to be used at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
Nominations can be submitted until 5pm Friday 15 November 2024 via Council's webpage.
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony in January 2025.
