Detectives from Darebin Crime Investigation Unit are investigating a ram raid which occurred in Northcote this morning.
Officers have been told a white four-wheel-drive was used to force entry to a sporting goods store at the corner of High Street and Arthurton Road around 5.25am.
At least two offenders entered the store and stole unknown items before fleeing in the vehicle, travelling west along Arthurton Road then north along Herbert Street.
Police established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
