A notice of motion to rescind item 'COM.2 Gambling Harm Minimisation Policy', which was resolved at the Scheduled Council Meeting on 28 August 2024, has been lodged.
In accordance with Council's Governance Rules, the rescission motion must now be considered by Council at the first available meeting. As such, the rescission motion will be considered at the Scheduled Council Meeting on Monday 16 September 2024 at 7pm.
Further information about the notice of rescission will be provided in the agenda for this Council Meeting, which will be published on Council's website by 5pm on Wednesday 11 September 2024.
Council will not be in a position to make further media comments in relation to this item until after the September 2024 Scheduled Council Meeting.
