Northern Territory Police have issued a Notice to Appear to man for the alleged theft of valuable plants from a nursery earlier this week.
Police received a report on Tuesday that a number of valuable plants had been stolen in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police located the plants yesterday at a property in Humpty Doo, including a selection of bonsai trees.
A 44-year-old man was issued a Notice to Appear for the following offences:
- 1 x Stealing
- 1 x Trespass
Senior Sergeant Siiri Tennosaar said "The offence of stealing in the Northern Territory carries a maximum penalty of seven years imprisonment. People who commit offences of this nature can expect to be charged and put before the court."
