Bayside Council is hosting a Novel Writing Workshop with Alicia Thompson at Mascot Library to help budding authors kick start their next novel.
Spread over two consecutive Saturdays the workshops will cover character and dialogue, objects, setting and atmosphere as well as ideas plot development and storylines.
Attendees will discover insights about the creative process and how to build a writer's toolkit.
The Novel Writing Workshops will be held at the Mascot Library from 9:30 - 11:30am on Saturday 12 October and Saturday 19 October.
Alicia will also present an Author Talk on her latest novel Ex at Mascot Library on Saturday 16 November from 10 - 11am.
