Kiewa Cricket Club's Sue Carey has been awarded the Kookaburra Volunteer of the Month for November, taking home a $200 Kookaburra Voucher for her club!
A shining light at Kiewa Cricket Club, Sue is regarded by many at the club as a superstar, with her positive attitude a key contributor to the continued growth of Kiewa Cricket Club.
From Player to Club Secretary, Blast Coordinator to Child Safety Officer, Bartender to Canteen Whiz, Sue has worn many hats over the past decade at Kiewa Cricket Club and her selflessness, just like many others, is a testament to the hard work put in by thousands of volunteers across the state to keep our game thriving.
A quiet achiever, Sue is not one for the spotlight - yet what better way to celebrate Women & Girls Week than by paying tribute to the efforts of a key figure involved with Kiewa Cricket Club.
Congratulations Sue and we thank you for your continued contributions to cricket in Victoria!
