NRMA Insurance expands support for McGrath Foundation funding a 3rd McGrath Cancer Care Nurse

NRMA Insurance has announced it is helping the McGrath Foundation take its care to all cancers by funding a third McGrath Cancer Care Nurse for three years.

NRMA Insurance has donated $450,000 to the McGrath Foundation to fund a new McGrath Cancer Care Nurse in Western Australia. The NRMA Insurance-funded nurse will specialise in Neuroendocrine cancer care, providing critical support to people experiencing cancer and their families.

McGrath Foundation President and Co-Founder, Glenn McGrath said: "Our nurses are experts in care, helping patients and their families navigate the complexities of treatment while offering invaluable emotional support.

The continued support from NRMA Insurance enables us to expand our reach and ensure more people across Australia receive the care they need.

NRMA Insurance has funded two other McGrath Cancer Care Nurses for three years each. Helen Moore at Calvary Mater Newcastle (NSW) and Kate Williams at Naracoorte Health Service (SA) provide invaluable care and support in these communities.

NRMA Insurance Chief Customer and Marketing Officer Michelle Klein said:

With the addition of a third NRMA Insurance-funded nurse, NRMA Insurance is the first corporate partner to fund a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse since the Foundation's move to all cancer care. The partnership continues to help the McGrath Foundation with it purpose of ensuring no one goes through cancer without the support of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse.
