NSW EPA Probes Alleged Falsified Sampling Results

The NSW Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is investigating allegations of falsified sampling results in environmental reports prepared by NG Child & Associates for numerous sites across NSW.

No immediate risks to public health and safety have been identified to date. The childcare centres, which are privately run facilities on privately owned land, can remain open and continue to operate.

Of the 135 sites that may be impacted, 3 are within Willoughby Local Government Area:

EPA officers visited affected sites on Friday 26 July 2024.

Council will work with the EPA to review the documents to confirm whether any falsification has occurred and manage any risks if they arise.
