Local residents have the opportunity to speak with members of the Office of the NSW Ombudsman on Tuesday 28 November from 9am-12pm at Kurri Kurri Library and from 1pm-4pm at Cessnock Library.
Employees from the Office of the NSW Ombudsman are joining with NSW ICAC's regional roadshow to raise awareness about their role and services in communities across NSW.
The NSW Ombudsman's Office is an autonomous and impartial integrity agency that supervises most NSW public sector agencies and some community service providers to ensure they perform their duties correctly and meet their responsibilities to the community.
Library Services Co-ordinator Rose-marie Walters is encouraging the community to take this opportunity to engage with the team from the NSW Ombudsman's Office.
"Feel free to drop in at either of the libraries on Tuesday 28 November and chat with the representatives from the NSW Ombudsman's Office regarding their services," said Ms Walters.
"Bookings are not necessary for this event. Drop into Kurri Kurri or Cessnock libraries to participate in discussions, clear doubts, or raise concerns and complaints."
The Cessnock City Libraries are located at 251 Lang St, Kurri Kurri and 65-67 Vincent St, Cessnock.
