Police have released images of a woman they believe can assist in an investigation of an unprovoked assault in the Sydney CBD.
Officers attached to the Police Transport Command were told a woman was assaulted by another woman as she walked through Wynyard railway station about 10.40pm on Tuesday 12 March 2024.
During the assault, the woman hit the woman several times in the head before she left the scene.
Following extensive investigations, police are hoping to talk to a woman who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The woman, who police believe is in aged in her 20s, is described as being aboriginal appearance, medium build, with brown hair. She is depicted as carrying a small purse hanging from her shoulder and was wearing black jeans, white zipped jumper and white shoes.
