Police have charged a man with an array of traffic offences following a pursuit in Moonbi, near Tamworth, NSW Police say.
About 11am today, police detected a Mazda exceeding the speed limit on the New England Highway at Kentucky.
Officers attempted to pull the car over however, the driver refused to stop.
Police pursued the vehicle for over 50km until road spikes were deployed and the vehicle was stopped.
The driver of the vehicles, a 23-year-old man was arrested by police and taken to Tamworth Police Station.
The man was charged with a series of offences including Police Pursuit (Skye’s Law), Dangerous driving and low range PCA.
The man was bail refused to appear before Tamworth Local Court tomorrow
