A NSW police officer has been charged in Victoria over alleged domestic violence incidents.
About 3:30pm yesterday (Friday 1 November 2024), officers attached to Victorian Police attended a home at Wodonga and arrested a 53-year-old man in relation to domestic violence incidents that are alleged to have occurred between September and October 2024.
The sergeant, attached to a command in the Southern Region, was taken to Wodonga Police Station and charged with two counts of common assault.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Wodonga Local Court on Monday 11 November 2024.
His employment status is currently under review.
