Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash near Nelligen, west of Batemans Bay tonight, NSW Police say.
About 6.30pm (Friday 2 February 2018), emergency services responded to reports of a single vehicle crash on the Kings Highway, about 15 kilometres east of Nelligen.
Officers found a white utility had left the roadway and hit a tree. The driver, a man in his 50s was airlifted to hospital with possible internal injuries.
Witnesses have told police the white utility may have been racing with an orange utility prior to the crash.
Police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed the events leading up to the crash.
