Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from the Lidcombe area.
Akilan Sahathevan, aged 38, was last seen at a home on Doodson Avenue, Lidcombe, about 1pm yesterday (Tuesday 20 February 2024).
Unable to be located or contacted since, Akilan was reported missing to officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.
Police hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with medical condition that requires medication.
Akilan is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, of medium build, about 180-185cm tall, with medium length black hair and a beard.
He was last seen wearing a grey coloured tee shirt, long black pants with two white strips on both sides, a pair of red coloured sandals.
Akilan is known to utilise public transport and frequents local parks and John Street, Lidcombe as well as Auburn railway station.
