Flood update from NSW SES as of 4pm on 14 December 2022

Wentworth

The Bureau of Meteorology advises rainfall over the past several weeks and months has caused renewed and prolonged flooding along the Murray River.

Along the Murray River, major flooding higher than the 1975 flood is occuring at Wentworth.

The Murray River at Wentworth may reach near 34.20 metres AHD around 16-18 December, with major flooding.

A prolonged peak is possible through to early January 2023, with major flooding.

Dareton, Buronga, Gol Gol

The Bureau of Meteorology advises rainfall over the past months has caused renewed and prolonged flooding along the Murray and Edward Rivers.

Along the Murray River, moderate flooding higher than the 1975 flood is occuring at Mildura.

MILDURA WEIR

The Murray River at Mildura Weir may reach near 38.40 metres AHD during Thursday with moderate flooding.

A prolonged peak is possible with the river level remaining above the moderate flood level (37.50 metres AHD) until the end of December.

The river is currently 38.31 metres and rising.
