NSW SES continues to lead the response to prolonged major flooding across Western and Southern NSW.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible over northern inland New South Wales during Wednesday afternoon or evening.
The NSW SES State Command Centre and NSW SES Incident Management Teams are working with the Bureau of Meteorology to proactively monitor and respond to flood impacts.
Planning continues for potential major flooding and consequences on communities through to the end of February 2023.
NSW SES is being supported by both interstate and international support, that is continuing to be received from; NSW Police, FRNSW, NSW RFS, Ambulance NSW, VRA Rescue NSW, Surf Lifesaving NSW, Marine Rescue NSW, National Parks & Wildlife Service, NSW Maritime, Transport for NSW, NSW Telco Authority, ResNSW, NSW Department of Primary Industries, the National Emergency Management Agency, and the Australian Defence Force.
The Lachlan River continues to be an area of concern, with major flooding at Condobolin, Euabalong and Hillston.
Along the Murrumbidgee, Hay and Balranald are also experiencing major flooding.
