Transurban has made a submission to the ongoing NSW Toll Review.
The document uses data and case studies to examine how toll roads deliver travel time savings and economic benefits, and outlines the decision making tools available to drivers, like Trip Compare (on the Linkt website).
The submission, available below, for the first time reveals an example of the positive impact the WestConnex M4-M8 link has had on surface road traffic since opening in January 2023.
Transurban has also responded to each of the questions posed by the NSW Government, including where there is an opportunity to discuss further enhancements to the toll road network, to deliver the Review's aims of greater efficiency, fairness, simplicity and transparency.
The Review is collaborating with private sector owners and operators, including Transurban to identify opportunities for reform.
