ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: A trough will extend across the northern Barkly District today then weaken, bringing the risk of moderate to heavy rainfall.

Daily widespread totals of 10 - 25 mm, with isolated falls up to 60 mm are possible until Saturday.

Many roads, and possibly primary and secondary highways may be affected with accumulated rainfall over the next few days. Some communities and homesteads may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.
