FURTHER FLOODING NOT EXPECTED IN THE BARKLY

A weak ridge lies over the Barkly while a trough will develop over southern Northern Territory this weekend. Showers and storms are becoming more isolated over the Flood Watch area and significant widespread totals are not expected.

Parts of the Flood Watch area becoming wet following rainfall in recent days.

Areas of localised flooding are expected to be easing across the Flood Watch area. Some stream levels may remain elevated and may continue to cause impacts.

Flood impacts may include road closures and isolation of communities. Check road conditions before travelling.
