ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED ACROSS THE FLOOD WATCH AREA

A trough across central NT is causing showers and thunderstorms. Showers and storms will clear central parts during Thursday evening, significant widespread totals are not expected.

Catchments in the Flood Watch area are generally dry. However, soil moisture in parts of the west of the NT has increased following rainfall in recent days.

Areas of localised flooding are expected to be easing across the Flood Watch area. Some stream levels may remain elevated and may continue to cause impacts. Flood impacts may include road closures and isolation of communities. Check road conditions before travelling.
