NT Police Pursue Leads on Tennant Creek Domestic Violence Case

Northern Territory Police are seeking information regarding a domestic violence incident that occurred in Tennant Creek on Wednesday.

At about 8:00pm, police received reports that a woman had been assaulted with a broken bottle by a man known to her at a service station, between Williams Street and Stuart Highway, in Tennant Creek. Police attended the scene, and the victim was transported to Tennant Creek Hospital with serious facial injuries. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

Detectives from the Tennant Creek Investigations Unit are actively investigating the incident. Police are urging anyone who witnessed the assault to contact them on 131 444.
