Northern Territory Police have issued a Notice to Appear (NTA) for stolen property in Durack last week.

Sometime overnight on Sunday 18 December, unknown offenders have entered a residence on Hayes Court, Durack. The offenders have stolen a mobility scooter, two bicycles and a quantity of alcohol.

Yesterday, detectives from Strike Force Trident received information that the scooter was in Gray. The scooter was seized from a residence a short time later and an NTA issued to a 41-year-old female for possession of stolen property. She is due to appear in Darwin Local Court on 27 January 2023.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said "Investigations into the thefts remain ongoing and police are urging anyone with information on the stolen silver fluid bicycles to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 10206933.

"The victim had received the mobility scooter recently as a gift and detectives were delighted to be able to return the item back to its lawful owner."
