About these tables
The datasets come from administrative data on remand and sentenced prisoners in custody, and on community sentences and post-prison offender populations. This data is collected by the Department of Corrections.
We have applied random rounding to the figures in the tables to protect confidentiality.

Prison (sentence, remand, and post-prison), community-sentence, and completed community work offender population statistics: 2024 calendar year will be released on 24 April 2025.
