A person has died after their car rolled into a waterway off a Southland road.
Emergency services were called to McDonald Road in Dipton West, near Break Neck Road, about 10am.
The sole occupant of the vehicle was unresponsive and was unable to be revived.
McDonald Road is currently closed while the scene is examined.
