Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash on SH 1 south of Tirau near Prospect Ave, involving a truck and a cyclist.
Police were called at around 9.40am.
Initial indications are that the cyclist is seriously injured.
Delays are expected and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
