Police have now laid charges in relation to the fatal crash on Main North Road, Sefton, on Friday 31 April.
A 67-year-old Hurunui man has been remanded in custody due to reappear in Christchurch District Court, Thursday 22 September, on charges of manslaughter and drug related charges.
