Police can now name the man located deceased in a vehicle in the Mata River, following a crash on 28 June.
He was Royce Alan Mathieson, aged 52, from Ruatoria.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
