Police can now advise the name of the person that died following a crash on the Southern Motorway (SH1), near Takanini on Thursday 16 November.
He was 50-year-old Sunil Vikash Nadan from Glenbrook, Auckland.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.
The initial crash investigation suggests the matter will be referred to the coroner.
