Police are now in a position to release the name of the motorcyclist killed in a crash on SH 1/Hillgrove-Moeraki Road yesterday morning [February 6].
He was 42-year-old Tane Roderick, of the Auckland area.
Police extends our sympathies to Mr Roderick's family and friends.
