The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT), to commemorate the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. The session will take place in the Simón Bolívar Hall at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., under the theme "I Have a Dream: Recognition. Justice. Development."
