OAS Council to Elect Expert for Indigenous Rights Oversee

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, July 24 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT), in the Simón Bolívar Room at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C. to consider "the proposed distribution of mandates" emanating from the recent General Assembly in Paraguay, and elect the titular expert for the Working Group to Follow up on the Implementation of the American Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, among other topics.
