The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting on Monday, January 13 at 16:00 EST (21:00 GMT), in the Simon Bolivar room at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., "to consider the convocation of a Meeting of Consultation of Ministers of Foreign Affairs to address as a matter of urgency the arrest of Ms. María Corina Machado in Venezuela."
