The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, October 9 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of the Creation and Installation of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), the 55th Anniversary of the Adoption of the American Convention on Human Rights (Pact of San José, Costa Rica) and the 45th Anniversary of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
