As usual, Cassy O'Connor is wrong.
Members of the Westbury community specifically contacted me asking for the Council meeting regarding the Northern Regional Prison to be as apolitical as possible.
This is a matter of public record.
On that basis, it was appropriate that the Northern Regional Prison Project Director, Colin Shephard, attend the meeting on behalf of the Government to listen to the community and respond to any concerns raised.
Ms O'Connor should learn the facts next time instead of making things up just to get a cheap headline.
