A police officer has been charged with alleged domestic violence related offences.
In January 2024, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command commenced an investigation into reports an officer allegedly intimidated two family members.
Following inquiries, police also investigated reports the officer allegedly assaulted two other family members in 2023.
On Monday 6 January 2025, investigators charged a 41-year-old senior constable – attached to the South West Metropolitan Region – at a police station about 9.30pm.
The officer was charged with two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic) and one count of common assault (DV).
She was issued a future court attendance notice to appear before Burwood Local Court on Tuesday 1 April 2025.
The officer's employment status is under review.
