- Eglinton Beach Primary School chosen as the official name for Perth's newest primary school
- School to open in 2025 and cater for 620 students

Education Minister Dr Tony Buti has today announced Eglinton Beach Primary School as the official name of the newest primary school in Perth's northern suburbs.
The name was chosen in consultation with the local community.
Once complete, the new school will cater for 620 students and provide enrolment relief to the growing Shorehaven Primary School.
The school will include an administration building, Kindergarten and Pre-primary learning areas, two double-storey teaching blocks, general learning classrooms, and specialist rooms for art and science.
A library, covered assembly area, music room, car park and hard courts will also be among the new school's facilities.
The school will also include an education support facility for approximately 50 students with classrooms, low stimulus rooms, and therapy and sensory rooms.
Eglinton Beach Primary School is currently under construction and due to open for the start of the 2025 school year.
This project is part of the WA Labor Government's record $4.4 billion investment in new and improved school infrastructure across the State.
As stated by Education Minister Dr Tony Buti:
"The naming of Eglinton Beach Primary School marks a significant milestone in the establishment of this wonderful brand new school.
"I have no doubt local young families are eagerly awaiting 2025 when Eglinton Beach Primary School is scheduled to open. The school is also set to provide enrolment relief to the nearby Shorehaven Primary School."

"The Eglinton area is undergoing an incredible transformation.
"Eglinton Beach Primary School will be a fantastic addition to the local community, complete with modern facilities to ensure young students begin their education in the very best learning environments."
