Oman's Tenth Five-Year Development Plan Mid-Term Review

To achieve sustainable national development and strengthen international partnerships to advance progress and prosperity in Oman, ESCWA and the Ministry of Economy organized a consultative meeting for stakeholders to review the mid-term evaluation of the tenth five-year development plan (2021-2025) and discuss future directions for early preparations for the next five-year plan (2026 -2030).

The meeting, held in Muscat from 28 to 30 May, included sessions on the themes of the tenth five-year development plan, including economy and development, people and society, and sustainable environment.

Discussions also focused on the main challenges hindering the effective implementation of various national programmes and the development of strategic recommendations based on the challenges identified to enhance economic performance and diversification.
